How do you submit a lesson plan to ReadWriteThink?

1. Returning users, select “Login” and type your username and password. For general information about submissions, select “Instructions for Authors” in the top menu. For information about this online system, go to the Author Tutorial.
2. If this is your first time to this site, select “Register” from the top menu and enter the requested information.
3. Gather the Word document files for all of your handouts as well as the lesson plan itself.  You will be prompted to enter:
   • The lesson plan, with all the headings indicated in the Lesson Plan Template.
   • All original handouts and related resources used in the lesson.
4. All handouts and resources must be included before the lesson can be reviewed and a decision on publication can be made.

What happens after you submit a lesson plan?
You’ll hear from us in reply, confirming that we’ve received your submission. The lesson will be sent out for blind review. When the reviews have been received, we’ll make a decision on publishing the lesson and contact you with the details.

Lesson plan submissions frequently require revisions before they are finally accepted. Publication on the ReadWriteThink site can take several months after all final, revised files have been received and accepted.

User Tips
Password: If you forget your password, select “Login” from the top menu. Then click “Forget your password?” If you would like to change your username and password, log in to the system and select “Update My Information” from the top menu.
