Set Additional Information Preferences

The ‘Additional Information’ step on the 'Submit Manuscript' interface allows the Author to answer specific questions created by the journal office or Editor.  Responses to questions are entered into a textbox.  This information is displayed on the submission’s ‘Details’ page.

Both New Submissions and Revised Submissions contain the following two options:

1)     Display - the Author is prompted to answer questions.  Whether or not responses are required is configured on the ‘Create Custom Submission Questions’ page in PolicyManager

2)     Hidden – the ‘Additional Information’ step is not displayed on the screen
