Author’s Response to Reviewers

Reviewers with appropriate RoleManager permission will have access to the (blinded) responses to all Reviewers on the ‘View Reviewer Comments’ and ‘View Decision Letter’ pages.  The ‘Respond to Reviewer’ submission step must be enabled in order to use this feature.

 

Note:  The Author’s response to Reviewers is only available for the first revision (R1) or greater (R2, R3, etc)

 

Note:  The Reviewer must have reviewed the previous version of the manuscript in order to see the Author’s Response to Reviewers

 

To Configure:  Go to the 'General Permissions' section of Reviewer RoleManager and check the box ‘View Author’s Response to Reviewer Comments’.
