Welcome to the online submission and editorial system for Obesity Surgery.

    • To access your various roles, click on the "Role" drop-down field above, and select your available author or reviewer roles.

    • To navigate through the system, click on the various links located at the top-left of this page. You are currently at the Home Page. You may also Log In/Log Out, request Help, Register, Update your Information, view the Journal Overview, go to your Main Menu of actions, Contact Us, Submit a Manuscript, and view Instructions to Authors, etc.

Are You New To This Website? Click the "Register" button from the menu above and enter the requested information. Upon successful registration, you will be sent an e-mail with instructions to verify your registration.

Note: When you have received an email from Obesity Surgery with an assigned User ID and Password, DO NOT REGISTER AGAIN. You may use the same User ID and Password for all of the actions on this site.

Returning Authors: Please use your original-assigned User ID and Password to track any submitted manuscripts or to submit a new manuscript.

Note: When uploading a new manuscript, please upload your manuscript only ONCE onto the system. After uploading all of your manuscript documents (text, figures, tables, etc.) and clicking "next," it will be automatically formatted as a PDF file, and you will be sent an e-mail requesting that you approve your submission. Please return to the main menu and APPROVE your submission accordingly.

Reviewers: Once you have logged in, please make sure you are in the correct Reviewer role. This role allows you to view and/or download manuscripts that are assigned to you for review, submit your comments for the Editors and Authors, and track the progress of your assigned manuscripts in the system.

Have you forgotten your password? If so, click the "Login" button and click on "Forget Your Password?" at the bottom of the Login screen and follow the instructions.

You may change your User ID and Password at any time. Log into the system and select "Update My Information" from the menu above. At the top of the Update My Information screen, click the "Change Password" button and follow the instructions.
