The JACI Editorial Office will be closed on Friday, July 4, to observe the U.S. holiday of Independence Day. However, Editorial Manager will still be available.
JACI is now able to accept the following types of figure files: JPEG, TIF, GIF, PPT, EPS, BMP, PDF, and DOC. Please note that for the latter three types, the dpi should be high enough to ensure a quality image (300 dpi or more). Also, DOC files that consist of a figure or image copied and pasted from another program or platform often do not have a high enough resolution to produce a quality image. Please see the Artwork Guidelines for further information on our publisherŐs requirements for figures.
In order to help authors comply with the NIH's new "Public Access Policy," Elsevier has instituted a new policy for publications funded by the NIH. You can view Elsevier's new NIH policy by clicking here.
The News Beyond Our Pages section accepts short (100-200 words) summaries of either news items or recently published articles that will be of interest to our readership. These summaries might highlight new developments, news about funding agencies or political legislation, ongoing or recently concluded clinical trials, or high-interest publications from other journals. The summaries should not have a reference list, but should include an in-text citation to a relevant article or website. Color figures are encouraged. As appropriate, the summaries may be accompanied by solicited quotations from experts in the field. Summaries, or proposals, can be submitted by email to the JACI Editorial Office at jaci@njc.org. All submissions are reviewed by the section editors.
Signed transfer of copyright and conflict of interest forms are no longer required at the time of submission. These forms will be required if your manuscript is accepted, but they can be submitted at any time following submission.
