Ear, Nose & Throat Journal provides practical peer-reviewed, original scientific and clinical articles, as well as case reports. ENT Journal is dedicated to serving the needs of practicing otolaryngologists—head and neck surgeons and related professionals by highlighting scientific research relevant to clinical care, and continuing to publish case reports that describe unusual entities or particularly insightful and important management issues.

The Editorial Manager system is designed to streamline the manuscript submission and peer-review process and to enable the journal to better track the progress of manuscripts as they move through that process.

To Use Editorial Manager, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, version 6 or later. (If you can view PDFs on your computer now, you already have this software; if not, you can download it free here). Before starting, authors should read the Author Tutorial (click here), and reviewers should read the Reviewer Tutorial (click here) for detailed instructions on using the system.

Instructions for Authors and Reviewers      
Authors: When first using this system, please click on “REGISTER” in the menu at the top of this page and complete the registration form. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive an e-mail informing you of your username and password (you may change either or both of these at any time; see “To change username and password,” below).

Once registered, you do not need to register each time you submit a manuscript. Simply click on “LOGIN,” above, enter your username and password, select the “Author Login” button, and proceed with your submission.

      
Reviewers: You have already been registered to use the system and should have received an e-mail containing your username and password. Choose “LOGIN,” from the menu above, enter your username and password, and click on the “Reviewer Login” button below the username and password windows. Please make sure your name, title, degree, and e-mail address have been entered correctly and complete your profile (postal address, phone and fax, topical categories of manuscripts you are willing to review, etc.). (When using the system as an author, choose the “Author Login” button instead of the “Reviewer Login” button.)      
Peer-review: If you are invited to review a manuscript, please log in (be sure to choose the “Reviewer Login” button) and respond to the invitation. You may then download a PDF containing the text and figures of the manuscript (this file is much smaller than the original files and will not overload your e-mail box). Forms for your rating of and comments about the manuscript can be filled out on the system, and an e-mail will automatically be sent to notify the editors that your review has been completed.

      

To change username and password: Log in to the system and select "change details". Your current password is listed in the "Password" field. Please replace this with a new password and click the "Update" button at the bottom of the form.
