in dairy research This international journal, first issued in 1921 (Le Lait), publishes bimonthly, original scientific articles, reviews and technical notes on the microbiology, biochemistry and physicochemistry of milk and its derivatives, on transformation procedures and on nutritional qualities and interest of milk components and dairy products. All papers are in English with abstracts in Chinese, English and French. |

Online submission
Authors can now submit their manuscripts and all associated files via the web to the editorial office, and track the progress of their manuscript throughout the peer review process. Reviewers are invited by email and can then submit their reports quickly and easily online. Authors and reviewers will receive email notification or reminders at key stages in the process. |

Using the system
First time users: Please select "REGISTER" from the menu at the top and enter the requested information. Upon successful registration, you will be sent an e-mail containing your username and password. You need these to log in. Repeat users: Please select "LOGIN" from the menu at the top and enter your username and password. Then choose the appropriate role. You never need to re-register, even if your role changes (eg, from author to reviewer). |

Authors: Select "LOGIN" and provide your username and password. Log in as "Author". Then submit your manuscript and track its progress through the system. For further information about appropriate content and layout for manuscripts see Guidelines for Authors. Reviewers: Select "LOGIN" and provide your username and password. Log in as "Reviewer". You may view and/or download manuscripts assigned to you and submit your comments for the Editor and the Authors. Do not forget to log in and agree to review when you are invited to review a new manuscript! For further information please download the Tutorial for Reviewers. Change name and password: Log into the system and select "change details". Your current password is listed in the "Password" field. Please replace this with a new password and click the "Update" button at the bottom of the form. |
