WELCOME to Editorial Manager for Cognitive Science, our journal's on-line manuscript submission and review system. Using this system, authors can submit their manuscripts electronically and follow their manuscripts' progress through the review process; reviewers can download assigned manuscripts and submit their reviews on-line; and editors can manage and keep track of the entire reviewing process in a timely fashion.

All first time users: Please Register for a new account and enter the requested information. Upon successfully completing the registration, you will receive an email message with your username and password. Please keep this information available for future reference. If you have problems registering, please request help from the journal's editorial office at cogscij@indiana.edu.

If you have already received an email message from us with your username and password, simply log in. Please don't register again: Your username and password will be the same whether you are using Editorial Manager as an author, a reviewer or an editor, or any combination of these.

All repeat users: Please Login to your existing account to resume your tasks.

Additional help for Authors and Reviewers: If you run into problems submitting your manuscript, or if you have any questions about the status of your submission or review, please email the journal's editorial office at cogscij@indiana.edu.

Authors: Enter your username and password and click "Author Login." Follow the instructions to submit a manuscript, update your submission in any way or simply check where it is in the reviewing process. You may download Editorial Manager's Tutorial for Authors to help guide you through the process.

Reviewers: Enter your username and password and click "Reviewer Login." Select the appropriate button from the Reviewer Main Menu: "New Assignments" to view any new assignment and choose whether or not to review it, "Pending Assignments" if you have already accepted to review a particular submission. You may download Editorial Manager's Tutorial for Reviewers to help guide you through the process.

Editors: Enter your username and password and click "Editor Login." Select which function you need to perform from the Editor Main Menu. You may download Editorial Manager's Tutorial for Editors to help guide you through the process.

All registered users

• Please click the Update My Information link at the top of this page to change personal information, if desired.
• If you cannot remember your password, please select the Forgot Your Password? link to have it re-sent to your registered address.
• It is recommended that you read through the Author or Reviewer Tutorials (depending on your role) noted above. These will provide detailed instruction and explanation about this site. However, for a quick ready reference highlighting the steps you will perform the most, feel free to access these ready reference files for Authors and Reviewers.
