Clinical Nurse Specialist™
Scope
Clinical Nurse Specialist™ publishes scholarly
works by clinical nurse specialists and other advanced practice nurses whose
manuscripts advance the practice of nursing. The manuscripts should address
the objectives of the journal which are to 1) disseminate knowledge about
clinical nurse specialist practice; 2) communicate the outcomes of clinical
nurse specialist practice on patients, families, groups and communities; the
nursing profession; and health care systems, organizations, and networks;
3) foster discussion of issues and trends that impact clinical nurse specialist
practice; and, 4) promote dialogue between clinical nurse specialists and
other advanced practice nurses. Manuscripts may address issues, trends, and
research and can include case studies and descriptive reports. Authors should
provide outcome data when reporting on innovative programs or interventions.
